2014 Summer break

so ... haven't been updating my blog for the past month . was too busy with my resit exams and partly is because i'm too lazy to transfer pictures from my phone to computer since i've been updating dayre quite often . 

so .. i'm just gonna upload a few random outings and meet ups throughout august and september hehe 

1. Meet up with Jo who's back from the UK 

we managed to watch a movie , Dawn of Planets of the Apes . 

catch up with each other's life and gossip hehe 

2. Lunch and coffee date with the bffs 

Ling is back from Canada ! Ting also came back form Hong Kong hehehe 

Had lunch at Gangnam88 and coffee at Cosans Coffee .

3. Karaoke and sleepover at Ting's 

karaoke at our usual place , First Subang's Loudspeaker . they had a promotion which was a 3 hour karaoke session for only RM5.70 . literally only RM5.70 lol cheap until wtf

headed back to Ting's house to chill , drink and talk . 

Pear cider ! we had apple cider too ! 

had so much fun just talking and chilling with them . we talked until 4am :o
times like these are my favourite . we should do this more often next time !

3. a spontaneous lunch date with Ting and Ling at Levain

 4. last meet up and karaoke session 
Sadly , we didn't actually meet up much for this summer . cause my exams ends on the 28th august and they both are flying off on 30th and 31st of august .
so we manage to meet up for the last time before both of them fly off .

5. Dinner with the boyf 

have been meeting up with the boyf once a week for dinner . our pictures aren't very nice so i've decided to not post any haha will just post the most recent dinner with him .

chilled at Starbucks while getting something done . Java chip cravings satisfied !  

5. Coffee date with the cousin

 a last minute coffee date at B.A.D by Wood and Steel with the cousin before she flies off to UK .
talked about life , studies ... hope you're doing fine at UK ! see you next summer !

green tea latte and cappuccino . the green tea latte was surprisingly good !

6. Movie date with Rach 

a random movie date with one of the bff haha watched Cafe Waiting Love . the movie was okay , kinda lame and funny . there's handsome guys tho hahaha

7. Singapore for cousin's wedding 

Day 1 ;

headed down to Singapore for my cousin's wedding ! took the Transtar bus instead of the usual First Coach cause my aunts wanted to give the bus a try . 

i was impressed by the spacious and comfortable seat !

i'm coming singapore !

by the time we reach my singapore aunt's place , it was already dinner time . 

and my aunt's cooking is the best ! i think i finished the one whole plate of lala :x 

Day 2 ;

headed over to Sentosa World . mom and aunts wanted to visit the casino and it's also my first time entering the casino. 

the guards always ask the same question "are you 21 y/o ?". sometimes they ask in a very offensive and annoying tone which pisses me off . am i even that stupid to try to sneak into a casino which requires a passport check before entering ? seriously ? -.- 

Day 3 ;
went to Marina Bay Sands to visit the casino there . i personally prefer The Sands than Sentosa cause it feels more classy and clean .

headed down to Bugis Street in the evening for some shopping session ! didn't really buy anything tho cause i've already spent so much before going to Singapore .

Day 4 ; 

Wedding day ! woke up super early in the morning , like around 7 or 8am for the tea ceremony . 

just to realise actually it has nothing to do with me . but since i get to receive angpaus ... so nevermind lah ! hahaha

the wedding dinner was held at Hotel Fort Canning . fell in love with the historical yet classy feeling of the hotel upon reaching . i think the hotel is still quite new so the place was quite clean and neat . i did get a slight glimpse of the hotel's room and it definitely makes me feel like getting a stay there next time .

it's nice seeing my cousin getting married happily , but these events are usually damn boring . omg it took hours to even get the dinner started . the solemnisation session was quite touching tho . that has got to be my favourite part of the night.

hm .. that pretty much sums up my summer break . due to my exams , i can't go for internship for this break .  

i felt like i did nothing throughout this summer , like literally nothing . 

oh well , i'm grateful that i manage to progress to my final year . really grateful .
regret that i could have put in more efforts to avoid such situations .
large impact on myself , big lesson learnt this time . just one more year to go and i'll get to graduate !
mental note to myself , so that i do not regret again in the future .

Macau & Hong Kong 2014 Part 2

finally blogging about Hong Kong !

sorry as i totally lost interest in blogging . probably it's just because this post is full of pictures and i had to upload one by one .___. 

Day 3 :

woke up super early in the morning to get ready for Hong Kong . 

while waiting for our transport to the jetty .

from Macau ---> Kowloon, Hong Kong . 

first thing we did once we reached Hong Kong is ... 

yes Ocean Park ! 

our schedule at Hong Kong is actually quite packed cause my mom decided to go for both Ocean Park and Disneyland . 

by the time we actually reached Ocean Park , it was already 12.30pm . 

and we're scheduled to leave Ocean Park by 6pm .

wanted to ride this but we decided that it's sort of a waste of time with the limited time we have :/

finally managed to find McDonald's . wtf i swear we were walking for 20 minutes finding it . 

and this is the most expensive McDonald's i've ever had . the bill was around 200KHD :O :O

managed to watch the dolphin show ! aww dolphins are always so adorable .

i have no idea what is this animal but i think it's one of the types of panda or something .

we were super hungry so we went to this shop near our hotel , recommended by the tour guide .

gotta say Hong Kong's milk tea is way better than ours . any random shop's is also better than ours .

it was actually quite good ! we weren't expecting much cause we find Hong Kong's food are just so so when compared to Malaysia's :/ 

checked into our hotel , Prudential Hotel .
totally love the hotel as it's located near the MTR . the nearest station is like within 5 minutes walk .

plus , the rooms are just spacious !
the only bad thing is that they don't have wifi in the rooms . it's only accessible at the lobby so every night you can see people swarming at the lobby using the wifi lol

it was still early so we decided to take a walk at Temple Street , 廟街 .

Day 4 :

dimsum for breakfast at a random restaurant , organised by the tour guide .

ordered this dry wantan mee but omg it tastes so weird T_T and there were so many wantan !! i ate like 4 but there's still like two or three left .

spotted Vitasoy at 7-11 . sis was the one who went in and buy and i have no idea why she bought this instead of the chocolate one . this tasted exactly like a normal soya bean drink lol
the other day my mom bought the chocolate one and it was quite good !

went to the highest spot of the hotel . There's a skyview rooftop and a swimming pool there !

too bad my sis and i only took pictures and left cause it was already 11pm . sadly , we didn't have any extra time to actually relax and enjoy the hotel .

Day 5 :

breakfast at another random shop . 

will never get use to the fact that Hong Kong's shops are so small and you have to squeeze onto another table with other people . 

the fact that we have 10 people in our group , we've never sat together for breakfast , lunch or dinner  lol 

actually i had 奶油包 instead of this breakfast set but the bread wasn't nice enough to take picture lol 

so i took a picture of sis's breakfast set . 

took MTR to 王大仙廟 . 

and we're off to Disneyland !

Adventureland

while waiting for the Lion King show . it was one of my favourite disney movies .
as my uncle and aunt are sitting on a wheelchair , we got privileges lol the WHOLE family gets to enter the show before everyone does ! wtf it was our very first time sitting in front seats while watching shows

and there's the Parade show ! we even get privileges for this lol there was a special area for the wheelchairs or elderly

i personally thinks that this show was the best . i get to reminisce my childhood days where i watched Disney movies every single day . there wasn't any movie that i've never watch before .

and Mulan was another one of my favourite .

we manage to try out a few exciting rides . so much fun ! never knew i had the courage to ride such rides >.<

and we had to wait for the fireworks .

Day 6 :

woke up for breakfast and had a stroll around our hotel . mom found this random boutique which has cheap clothes . so i manage to grab a jacket before going home lol since i didn't get to buy any clothes throughout the trip .

bye HongKong ! hope i'll get to visit another time as this trip wasn't that satisfying .
there were lots of food and places that i didn't get to visit .
